Williamsburg Landing is a premier continuing care retirement community located in Williamsburg, Virginia. Campus wide, they maintain 310 homes, townhomes and apartments and house approximately 500 residents.
In this phased and fast-tracked project, Henderson, Inc. constructed a 2-story, 24-unit Memory Care household, and a 4-story, 37-unit expansion of residential Assisted Living. A 15-bed specialized short term skilled rehabilitation unit, as well as other cosmetic improvements throughout the existing Woodhaven building were completed.
The renovations were of existing corridors in the dining area, kitchen, skilled care and remained occupied throughout the project. The project also required existing plumbing and fire suppression upsizing because the original was too small to handle the additions. This work was also done while the building was occupied.
In total, this project has added approximately 100,000 square feet to the existing Woodhaven complex.
