Henderson, Inc. was the General Contractor and self-performed all site and utility work on the Williamsburg Pottery design-build project. The project covers 19 acres and includes three separate, pre-engineered metal buildings totaling 151,000 SF of retail and restaurant space and 10,300 SF of office space.

The project is designed in a traditional European Market theme. Prominent features of the new Pottery include a unique silhouette with a clock tower, a courtyard with a stage for live music and performances, energy-efficient LED lighting, and indoor and outdoor seating at the Café & Bakery and Deli.

The 19-acre site includes a 730-space parking lot and a 7-acre BMP, which was rehabilitated to meet current standards. New 12” water lines and new 8” sewer lines service the site, which drains through new 30” and 36” D.I.P. to the BMP and the overhead utilities along Route 60 were placed underground.

The Pottery remained in operation throughout demolition and most construction.
