Saturday, January 21, 2012 marked the unveiling of the newly renovated Luter Family YMCA in Smithfield, Va. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, there were free screenings, inflatables, activities for kids, healthy snacks and refreshments, TRX, group exercise classes and more. Henderson, Inc. was on hand for the festivities and was proud to show off our hard work!

The Luter Family YMCA project consisted of renovations and an addition to the existing facility while the YMCA was still in operation. The renovations included the demolition of exterior walls and storefront glass, a new entrance vestibule, new flooring and paint in the studio and exterior site improvements. The 4,660 square foot addition included the expansion of the existing Child Watch Facility to include new flooring, paint and decorative casework in the existing Child Watch Facility and the expansion of the Wellness Center to include new flooring and paint in the existing Wellness Center.
